questions to ask myself when i’m feeling off

• did i eat yesterday, and have i eaten today? am i eating well (i.e. getting enough of the right nutrients)?
• have i taken all medication?
• have i been getting enough undisturbed sleep? 
• have i experienced any major life changes or events recently? 
• have i moved my body around (i.e. exercising, stretching, walking)?
• have i gone outside? 
• have i had any interaction with others? have i been isolating?
• have i showered?
• if i were my friend, what would i tell myself or do for myself to feel better?

the purpose of these questions is to give you an idea of what might be contributing to your mood right now. be gentle with yourself, regardless of what your answers to these questions are, and give yourself credit for getting through whatever you’re going through.
